Suburbs of Oklahoma State was devastated by a tornado, that hit it on Monday. News updates on different online sources report that a community was devastated along with a school and caused some human casualties also. Online news portals are filled with the pictures of the devastation that the tornado has caused.

Rabi Lamichhane Sets a Guinness World Record

Setting a Guinness World record is in itself a prestigious task. Not only the person who sets it gets popular but also his motherland will be known all over the world. People from Nepal has now and then set different world record and again recently a native of Nepal, Rabi Lamichhane, has set a new Guinness world record by hosting the longest ever TV talk show. He hosted the talk show for 62 hours. Hmm... quite a longest talk show.

Nepali Cricket Team Created a History

The national cricket team of Nepal created a history by winning the ICC World Cricket League Division 4. Nepal not only got promoted to ICC league division 3, but did it in a style by winning all the six games it played on its way to reach Division 3. America, Denmark, Tanzania, Singapore and Malaysia(teams that participated in the tournament) couldn't hold back the winner, Nepal. Winning all its game and a tournament in a foreign soil was a major achievement for the Nepali team. And their achievement was highly appreciated by the Nepalis, which was seen yesterday at the Tribhuvan International Airport where a huge crowd welcomed their heroes back home. Along with the people the Prime Minister of Nepal also congratulated the cricket players for their major achievement. The PM congratulating the players.....rare to hear in this country.

Is Politics really A Dirty game

From the time I was old enough to know the world around me, I keep on hearing this sentence --POLITICS IS A DIRTY GAME and ONE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM IT. I used to question myself Is politics really a dirty game? If its so then why more and more people are deviated towards it. And why the people --the leaders-- who are involved into it are respected everywhere??? If its that dirty then they should be hated rather than revered.

As I grew older and my conscience grew, I learnt and gained different information regarding this field. What I found from my learning is that its not a dirty thing; however, the people involved in it makes it dirty. Some corrupt and selfish people after reaching and getting the post tries to manipulate every instrument he has access to as per his wish and makes the system corrupt. Thats why people who are not involved in this field, who stays out from it, seeing all these comes to the conclusion that its not the right profession to get involved into.

If good people and leaders had been involved in this profession then surely they would not have manipulated the system and sources as per their wish but instead had used it for the benefit of the country and its people. Which could surely make the people say and think that its the right profession and its the only profession which could change the scenario of any country. However, this is not the situation in many countries.

Today the youths have started to take a keen interest in politics and have started to participate in it, hoping to change the disposition of this field, wash out all the stains that has blemished the figure of this field, which surely is a good thing. As it is said that there is always a sunshine after a long night, likewise there will be a sunshine in this field.

Its All Euro Cup

Euro Cup is on the move. Group stage games are on its way. Some teams are winning and some are losing. However, the spirit of the game is up all around the world. Likewise, the Euro fever has touched one of the smallest country in the world, Nepal, also. People are changing their daily schedules so that they can watch their favourite games. Although due to time difference its late night here, people don't care. They stay awake whole night supporting their teams and cheering for every moves they make and every goals they score. Also they feel sad when their team concede a goal. The sentiment of Euro cup has touched everyone.

The people are eagerly waiting sitting in front of their TV to see their team win the Cup.
