Series of Blast Left Two Dead.

Kathmandu, 2nd August at around 4pm local time, a series of blast took place in the capital city of Nepal. The bomb exploded in three places killing at least two people and injuring several others. The bomb exploded in three places Tripureshwor, Sundhara and Balaju within a interval of ten minutes. The search is going on for the so called terrorist, who tried to spoil the peace that has just prevailed in Nepal after the country has gone under civil war for ten years. After the maoist party has joined the parliament and left the weapon, people of Nepal was hoping of living again in peaceful environment, but with this explosion in the capital has left the people terrorized. According to loacal television (avenuzetelevision), Terai army which has been active in the Terai region has taken the blame of those serial blast.

Nepal created a History

Nepal created a history by winning the ACC-U19 Elite Cup title for the fouth time. For this Nepal defeated Afganistan, who has not lost any of its game in the match, by 48 runs in the final match. To defeat the Afganistan, Nepali bowlers played a key role, but batsman too proved their defiant character.

Winning the toss, Nepal chose to bat first; but their decision was proved wrong when Afganistani bowler took key five Nepali wickets with just 60 runs in the score board. But the Nepali players showed their defiance towards Afganistan bowlers and put a total of 171 runs with two balls to spare of fifty overs.

In reply, Nepali bowlers performed well and limited the Afganistan innings in 124 runs all out.
With this win Nepal now plays the runners-up of European region for a spot in the Youth World Cup. Apart from Nepal; Malaysia as the hosts of the World Cup 2008, automatically qualifies for the event.

Monsoon hits Nepal

This year's monsoon has hit Nepal hard. It has affected from the Terai to the hilly areas. Terai is affected by flood whereas Hilly areas are affected by landslide. In Terai, the heavy rainfall has caused innundation in majority of the region, causing inhabitants to leave their house and take refuge in different places. Hectares of crops are also destroyed, causing them and the country huge economic loss. In hilly area, there are reports of daily landslide causing loss of lives. Many people's homes are erosed due to landslide leaving them homeless. Nepalese from around the country are collecting relief material and funds to help them. And government are also helping them in its own way.

Curfew Imposed In Bangladesh

The Government in Bangladesh has imposed curfew in the capital Dhaka along with five other cities. The city is quiet after the curfew.
The curfew was a result of the strike of students who poured down in the streets demanding and end to the emergency rule spread across the country. Hundreds of students were hurt in the violence. Clashes between the students and army began in the capital and spread to other parts of the country. To control this situation the government imposed curfew. Due to curfew colleges, shops, offices etc are closed and the streets are quiet with no people movement. The roads are empty with only army personnel patrolling.

UAE To set up Labour Office in Nepal

UAE is planning to set up its labour office in Nepal in the near future. The UAE expressed its willingness to open the office during the discussion on the sidelines of a recent signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on labour between the two countries, said Mohan Krishna Shrestha, Charge d'affaires (CDA), Embassy of Nepal. The ministry will entrust a private agency to open an office in Nepal. The agency will monitor and control the recruitment of Nepali workers. An official delegation from Nepal will visit the UAE every six months to evaluate the progress of the MoU.
