TOURISM YEAR2011 VS GARBAGE PROBLEM

Nepal is celebrating the year 2011 as a tourism year. With lots of dream to promote the natural beauties along with its historical and cultural aspect, it is in its full gear to start the year 2011 with a big bang. As per plan for the year 2011, different infrastructures are being made and different cultural and historical places are being renovated so that the whole world can get a better glimpse of the real Nepal.
However, the garbage problem has hit the capital of Nepal. The outskirts of the capital are beautiful and can give you a sense that you are getting a full return of what you have spend here. But the capital is getting dirty day by day. With number of vehicles rising daily, the atmosphere is getting polluted. And now the locals of the landfill site where the garbages of the capital are dumped is stopping the garbage disposal. They have put their demand forward to the concerned authority but no consensus has been still met. As a result loads of garbage could be seen dumped by the roadside in every corner of the capital, which is turning the capital city into a city of garbage.
The first point where the international visitors put their feet in this country is Tribhuvan International Airport which is located in the capital city, Kathmandu. If the capital is facing garbage problem then the visitors won't have a positive feeling about their visiting their country. So the government and the concerned authorities and the locals should reach at a consensus as soon as possible. The result of which will be overwhelming for the country economically and hygienically.

Who Will Be The Next Prime Minister of Nepal

As Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has resigned from his post, we can see a lot of political groupings and talking going on among the major political parties of Nepal. UCPN-Maoist, UCPN-UML and Nepali Congress were on the forefront in the run of the primeministership. As one have to get a majority of votes (2/3rd of the assembly votes), they were busy making consensus among themselves and other smaller political parties. UCPN-UML withdrew from the competition in the last hour. Now the two major political parties UCPN-Maoist and Nepali Congress are standing against one another for the post of Prime Minister. They are having counselling with other smaller parties for their support in the election but till now no sort of consensus has been made which creates uncertainty about who is going to be the next PM of Nepal and when will he be the next PM?
