In ACC Twenty20 Cup Nepal defeated Saudi Arabia by 95runs. Batting first Nepal put a massive score of 183 runs losing 5 wickets. Mehaboob Alam top scored with 88 runs, the highest run scored by a Nepali batsman in Twenty20 tournament. Chasing 184 runs Saudi Arabia were bowled out for 88 runs.

Nepal Beat Bangladesh In The SAFF Championship
Nepal beat Bangladesh by a goal in their group match held today. A last minute goal by skipper Sagar Thapa was all the Nepali team needed to defeat Bangladesh in their group match. Earlier Nepal was held draw by Maldives in the opening match. Nepal will face Pakistan in their third match.

Nepal Defeated Hongkong by two wickets( ACC Twenty20 championship)
Nepal defeated Hongkong by 2 wickets in the opening match of ACC Twenty20 championship. Hongkong batting first posted 114 runs on the scoreboard. Nepal successfully chased the target of 115 runs. Nepali cricket fans had to wait till the last over to see their team win their game. The championship is being held in the TU ground, Kathmandu.

The citizens of Kathmandu, the capital city. has been affected by the sudden break of Bird Flu in the capital. This recent case of Bird Flu has forced its denizens has started following preventive measures to keep themselves aloof from the deadly virus. As it the first time the virus is seen in the capital, people are curious and cautious about it. Almost all the schools lying in the area where the virus has been found has been shut. A massive searching and destroying of the infected birds is being carried out.

Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement or BIPPA has aroused nationwide condemnation of Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai. PM Bhattarai has defended his signing of BIPPA as a step towards attracting Indian investment in the country which will help to improve the economy of the country. However, the major political parties along with a faction of his own party is demonstrating against him regarding the agreement. BIPPA has trapped PM Bhattarai and we have to see how will he come above this problem.
