Corruption: A Hurdle To The Development Of A Country

Corruption indeed is a big hurdle in developing any country economically as well as infrastructurally. It is like a bugs living in the wood who destroys the wood from inside living it totally useless. Likewise the corrupt people destroys the system of the country and makes the country a handicap country. Almost all countries in this world is infested by the disease of corruption, and Nepal too can't keep itself aloof from this disease. With increasing corruption in every sector, the development -both economic and social- of Nepal has retarded and the public is entangled in the web of this corruption.
Late King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who unified Nepal into one has told in Divyaupadesh(a book consisting his advice and quotes) that person who takes and gives bribe are both enemy of the country. So we should eliminate such culture. But at the present scenario, public is not going to get any service without paying some cash for which they need not spend a single dime. If you want to get your work done at the earliest then the play of money goes, otherwise no one can tell when your work will be done.
Such dirty corruption has infested the development of Nepal, and if any country wish to be developed then first of all the game of money i.e. corruption is to be curbed.
