From the time I was old enough to know the world around me, I keep on hearing this sentence --POLITICS IS A DIRTY GAME and ONE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM IT. I used to question myself Is politics really a dirty game? If its so then why more and more people are deviated towards it. And why the people --the leaders-- who are involved into it are respected everywhere??? If its that dirty then they should be hated rather than revered.
As I grew older and my conscience grew, I learnt and gained different information regarding this field. What I found from my learning is that its not a dirty thing; however, the people involved in it makes it dirty. Some corrupt and selfish people after reaching and getting the post tries to manipulate every instrument he has access to as per his wish and makes the system corrupt. Thats why people who are not involved in this field, who stays out from it, seeing all these comes to the conclusion that its not the right profession to get involved into.
If good people and leaders had been involved in this profession then surely they would not have manipulated the system and sources as per their wish but instead had used it for the benefit of the country and its people. Which could surely make the people say and think that its the right profession and its the only profession which could change the scenario of any country. However, this is not the situation in many countries.
Today the youths have started to take a keen interest in politics and have started to participate in it, hoping to change the disposition of this field, wash out all the stains that has blemished the figure of this field, which surely is a good thing. As it is said that there is always a sunshine after a long night, likewise there will be a sunshine in this field.
