UAE is planning to set up its labour office in Nepal in the near future. The UAE expressed its willingness to open the office during the discussion on the sidelines of a recent signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on labour between the two countries, said Mohan Krishna Shrestha, Charge d'affaires (CDA), Embassy of Nepal. The ministry will entrust a private agency to open an office in Nepal. The agency will monitor and control the recruitment of Nepali workers. An official delegation from Nepal will visit the UAE every six months to evaluate the progress of the MoU.
