Adios 11th SAG

10Feb 2010. Eleventh SAG festival ended yesterday , along with it the great the vigorous competition in different games has also ended. This SAG has been memorable to some, while others got disappointed as they could not perform well and win a medal for their country. Among the players from Nepal to whom the SAG became memorable are Deepak Bista and Rajendra Bhandari, both of them won a gold medal each for thier country. For all other players too who won medals, this SAG became memorable but for these two players from Nepal it just unimaginable. Deepak Bista a taekwondo player won the gold for the consecutive four times and made a history, being a player to win gold medal for consecutive four times. Whiel Rajendra who won a gold medal for marathon was exalted, because it was a test for him and his courage. In 10th SAG game he had won two gold medals but was stripped of it for doping reason and was banned for a year. He was playing in this 11th SAG game to prove himself and regain his confidence and ego.
In this 11th SAG, Nepal occupied the 5th position. The players who participated in this game gained a valuable experience which will be helpful for them in their next participation.

Whatever may be the table of the meadal winning players and country, this 11th SAG was held successfully and the players competed in their respective game to win a gold medal for their country.
