Bird Flu Confirmed in Pokhara

Reports confirmed that the some 200 chickens that died in Pokhara -7, died of bird flu. Government has declared the area a bird-flu infected zone and has started massive culling operation in that zone. The officers have quarantined the area, and the daily newspaper has reported that around 10,000 chickens will be destroyed.
